Alright, people! This semester has been INSANE. Literally. The other day, I was sooo burnt out and really tired and questioned my sanity. I guess it’s because I cannot seem to wrap my head around everything that’s going on in life right now: Finally having clear skin, upper division English classes, letting go of my math tutor, and preparing for my 20th birthday. Whilst these aren’t huge happenings to most of you, they are monumental to me. I mean, for the first time in eight years, I’m in love with my face (considering I was ashamed it for so long) and the fact that I don’t have to cake makeup on to feel attractive.
The timing of my skin clearing was perfect because I’ll officially enter into my “Roaring 20’s” a month from tomorrow. On top of all this, school has been a bit hectic-getting the hang of new routines and adjusting study habits accordingly. Now comes the reason for my post:
I’m so very sorry for the negligence I have shown with my blog. I have missed it so much, but now I’ve gotten a routine down and the stress of classes has minimized. Like I said, I’ve just been really burnt out and this semester (although it’s only been five weeks), has proven to be the semester that will test my strength. But, as the above picture illustrates: I’m not giving up for anything. I have a goal and I’m going to reach it. It won’t be easy, but I’ll do it. Since this blog is one of the only things keeping me sane, I’m excited to back, up and running.
