As the above photo set accurately depicts the most stressful time of the year, I find myself in a daze because time just never stops… I mean, it feels like just yesterday I was beginning my collegiate journey at my community college and next fall, I’ll be applying to UC campuses and private universities. It’s just crazy to think that this time next year, I’ll be ending my last semester at Moorpark (like, what?!) and getting prepared to receive letters in the mail from colleges all over California. But, for now I’m just here in my room frantically checking my school account to view final grades for this semester (even though I still have two more finals to take) and hoping that all will be well. Meanwhile, the rest of my week/weekend will be fairly mellow since I’m two classes down and I’ll be watching a marathon of Law & Order: SVU on Netflix. All I have to do is take my math and astronomy finals (ew) and I’ll be dunzo with this crazy semester. Here’s what I’ve been up to lately! Happy Wednesday, beautiful people! 🙂
||MAMA LOVES ME||
||ALL GROWN UP||
Yes, folks, my Aunt Fiona and my Grandma are the bees knees because, as a Christmas gift to my cousin and I, we’re going to see GAGA in San Diego this summer. I honestly cannot believe how fortunate I am to be able to see my creative inspiration and idol live for the second time. I went back in 2011 for my 17th birthday when she played in LA at the Staples center. It ’twas magical and I even got to sing her happy birthday which was awesome. The Born This Way Ball wasn’t such a glorious time for me (or for Gaga, really) because she broke her hip (forcing her to cancel the last twenty-two shows) and I was losing my mind stressing over graduation duties. Needless to say, the concert just wasn’t in the cards for me. Her last live show I witnessed, though, was such a fabulous example of what performance art really is and now that Gaga and I are much more confident, I cannot wait to see what unfolds at the ARTPOP Ball this summer! I’ll be accompanied by two of my favorites and I am so elated to be having this experience again!
Until next time!
